What is a single tooth implant?

A single tooth implant replaces one missing tooth with a small titanium post placed in the jaw, topped by a custom-made crown — filling the gap without grinding down the healthy teeth on either side (as a bridge would). At SmilePath Dental in Mansarovar, Jaipur, we plan every implant with a CBCT scan for precise, safe placement, giving you a natural-looking tooth you can bite and smile with confidently. Pricing is transparent with easy EMI options, and you'll get an exact quote at your free consultation.

What to expect

We begin with an examination and a CBCT scan to check your jawbone and plan the exact position of the implant. At the placement visit we numb the area and gently insert the titanium post — most patients find this easier than they expected. The implant then needs a few months to fuse with the bone (this is what makes it so stable and long-lasting).

Once it has healed, we attach a custom crown colour-matched to your natural teeth. If you need a little extra bone first, we'll explain that at your consultation. You'll know the full plan, timeline and cost before we start.

Who it’s for

A single tooth implant is ideal for anyone in Jaipur missing one tooth — from decay, injury, or an extraction — who wants a permanent, fixed replacement rather than a removable option, and would prefer not to grind down healthy neighbouring teeth for a bridge. A quick CBCT check tells us if you have enough bone.

Who can benefit
  • A single missing tooth from decay, injury, or extraction

  • Wanting a permanent, fixed replacement (not removable)

  • Preferring not to grind down neighbouring teeth for a bridge

  • A gap affecting your bite, speech, or confidence

  • Enough healthy jawbone (we assess this with a CBCT scan)

Aftercare tips

  • Eat soft foods and avoid chewing directly on the implant while it heals

  • Keep the area clean with gentle brushing and any rinse we recommend

  • Avoid smoking — it slows implant healing and lowers success

  • Attend your review visits so we can check the implant has fused before the crown

  • Once the crown is fitted, care for it like a natural tooth: brush, floss, and regular checkups
