What is impacted tooth surgery?
An impacted tooth is one stuck below the gum or bone that can't come through properly — most often a wisdom tooth, but sometimes a canine or another tooth. Impacted tooth surgery either removes it or, for a tooth that's needed, exposes it so it can be guided into place. At SmilePath Dental in Mansarovar, Jaipur, our dental surgeon uses a CBCT scan to plan the procedure precisely around the nerve and roots, then carries it out comfortably under local anaesthesia. Pricing is transparent with easy EMI options, and you'll get an exact quote at your free consultation.

What to expect
We take a CBCT scan to see exactly where the impacted tooth sits and where the nerve and roots run — this is what makes the surgery safe and predictable. We numb the area fully, then either remove the tooth or, if it's a tooth your bite needs (like a canine), gently expose it so it can later be guided into place with braces.
If needed we lift a small gum flap and place dissolvable stitches. You'll feel pressure, not pain. We finish with gauze, an aftercare kit, and clear instructions, and most people take it easy for a day or two.
Who it's for
Impacted tooth surgery is for anyone in Jaipur with a tooth stuck under the gum causing pain, swelling, crowding, or repeated infection — commonly a wisdom tooth, or an impacted canine in younger patients. It's also done to expose a buried tooth so orthodontic treatment can bring it into the smile.
