What is an alveoloplasty?
After teeth are removed, the bony ridge that held them can be left sharp, bumpy, or uneven — which causes sore spots under dentures and slower, uncomfortable healing. An alveoloplasty gently smooths and reshapes that ridge so your gums heal evenly and a denture can sit comfortably on top. At SmilePath Dental in Mansarovar, Jaipur, it's often done in the same visit as the extractions, under local anaesthesia, so there's no extra trip. Pricing is transparent with easy EMI options, and you'll get an exact quote at your free consultation.

What to expect
We look at the ridge with an X-ray or CBCT scan and plan where it needs smoothing. With the area fully numbed, we gently reshape and smooth the bone — often straight after removing the teeth, while the area is already open — then close the gum with a few stitches.
The gums then heal over an even, rounded ridge. We'll plan the timing of your denture (or implants) around your healing, so your new teeth fit comfortably from the start.
Who it's for
Alveoloplasty is for anyone in Jaipur having several teeth removed before getting dentures, or who already has sharp or bumpy spots on the gum that make a denture painful. It's also sometimes done to prepare the ridge for implants or simply to help the gums heal more smoothly.
